Fifteen years of age living with father at 125 Belcher's St. Accused and I used to go to same church.

I look at Ext.17 I recognise the girl.

I spoke to her only once. I knew her as Keung ze Lai.

I didn't know surname.

I have seen her with accused.

I haven't seen them together since the end of last year at Gospel Kission.

Accused asked me to take a letter to the woman but I refused. That is many weeks ago I can't remember when.

It was some time in 6th moon - (12th July to 9th August). He asked me to take the letter to a house in Lai Chi Kok Road 121 or 211.

I didn't know Im chun the deceased man.

I saw Im Hei once on the other side of the harbour.

Keung Sze Lai lived at 125 Belcher's Street.

It was at the beginning of February last.

I have known accused since last year.

Accused was not with Keung Sze Lai.

While she was in our house I don't know if anyone called Im Chun called on her.

She left our house in 1st or 2nd moon (before 13th pril).

I don't know if my father told accused where to find Keung Sze Lai.

I don't know if it was in our house Im Chun met Keung bze Lai.

I never saw Keung Sze lai with a baby in her arms.

I didn't know whether Keung Sze Lai had moved away or not.

I didn't know where she had moved to.

The only time I saw Im Hai was in the police court.

I was born in Hong Kong.

My ancestral home is in Wai Yeung, but I have never been there.

It is three hours by boat from Hong Kong.

I had a daughter Keung Wai Lan or Keung au Lin.

She was born in Ku fo village and lived there until she was 18. She then went on a visit to Hong Kong and returned to Ku So. In 12th moon of year before last (Jan.1933) she left home for Hong Kong

I gave her $10 to $20 every month.

She wrote to me only when she wanted money.

She was staying with her cousin in Cheung Wai Ying, a woman.

She was for many years at school.

She was over 20 when she left school.

She was a modern girl and difficult to control.

The insisted on her own way about m rriage and wouldn't choose one in the country.

I took no steps to find her a husband.

She was never married except to Im Chun.

I know of no marriage ceremony with Im Chun.

I don't know if she was a Exixxtianx Christian.

I know accused, a clansmen from s me place.

I have known him since he was a child.

Ku So is a village of several surnames, but mostly Keungs.

I knew accused's father - a Butt Christian.

All his father's family in village, mother and two elder brother Accused has a wife in the country and I know her but I don't

know her name.

His wife lives with his brothers and mother.

They have been married 6, 7 or 8 years.

There was a proper customary marriage ceremony.
